Chef Robert Wiedmaier opened the first extension of his popular gastro-pub, Mussel Bar & Grille outside of the Washington metro area, April, 2012 at Revel, a 6.3-million-square-foot beachfront resort in Atlantic City. The restaurant includes a stage for live performances and a dramatic, open kitchen to showcase the creative process inside. Paying homage to Wiedmaier’s roots, Mussel Bar & Grille calls upon inspiration from an old-world Belgian roadhouse serving beer, moules and frites along with simple grilled meats and seafood.  Chef Wiedmaier presents a menu that pairs his fine dining talent with a respect for his featured ingredient, mussels, served up in a sophisticated comfort food style accompanied by a centric Belgian beer list, wine, champagne and cocktail menu
